Album Covers
Fluid motion and connectivity is the concept of this album. Using photoshop this art is multiple photos blended together to create movement and elegance.
The cover concept is an image that depicts self-reflection and mindfulness. Using procreate and photoshop I created an art piece expressing this concept.
The client chose to use an old photo from the 1970s. I digitally refurbished it and added a fleur de lee and the titles in classic New Orleans street tiles for that crescent city flare.
The client sent a photo he wanted to enhance it to look more like a painting. I added brush strokes and the titles as neon signs to keep the feeling of night life.
The Client wanted a minimalist approach while honoring the concept of the album. The barren basement walls and letters on the floor refer to a line from one of the songs.
The client had a strong concept for the cover. I brought it to life by compositing his images and polishing the look with my eye for design.
Posters
With full creative freedom, this poster is a classic and timeless design that fits with the style of the artist being honored.
I chose a black and white design to fit within the 1940s aesthetic of the coffee shop where the performance was taking place.
I created this playful design based on the concept from the client. The colors and patterns perfect for an outdoor festival.
The client wanted to have the trio as the center point of the concept. The triangles mimic spotlights and bring focus to the poster.
I designed this poster for the clients Arabic Jazz band using design elements from his heritage.
